InFORM, which stands for Introduction to Food Operations, Regulations, and Management, is a series of self-paced, online trainings aimed at individuals with or seeking careers in the food industry. Current trainings cover topics such as the fundamentals of food microbiology, identification of food safety hazards, and concepts in processing for safety and quality. Upcoming offerings will expand the program to cover sanitation and hygienic design for the food industry, special processes (i.e. High Pressure Processing), principles of inspections and auditing, among others. The objective of this series is to provide competency in the manufacturing of safe and quality foods and is appropriate for new employees or as continuing education for industry professionals.

Hygienic Design in Food Manufacturing is a training focused on enhancing participants’ understanding of the role hygienic design plays in food safety, as well as ensuring that participants understand how to effectively create and implement SSOPs, as well as become familiar with hygienic design standards, guidelines, and practices.
